42 year old Essex based guitarist, Daniel Evans, has been playing for 30 years. He has played in a number of covers and originals bands covering the London music scene including gigs at The Roundhouse Camden, Electric Ballroom, The Camden Barfly, Dingwalls, The Dublin Castle, The Garage Islington showcasing for Scott Rodger (Paul McCartney's Manager) and Sound at Leicester Square for Radio 1 whilst supporting Finley Quaye.
Daniel has been most influenced by Eddie Van Halen, Steve Lukather, Jeff Beck, Zakk Wylde, Joe Satriani and likes to take the lead. His passion is rock music but his tastes are quite eclectic.
Daniel has acquired a huge amount of experience in all aspects of the guitar and music industry and prides himself on his guitar tone, and constantly strives to improve this.
Daniel can be seen playing the covers band circuit around Essex and London, either with his current band or standing in for other bands who's guitarist cant make it.
Daniel also carries out session work for local record company's, either live or in his personal modern recording studio.
Daniel started out learning by the late Mike Casswell, who was a London based session guitarist. Mike has been signed to major labels such as RCA America, MCA, Universal and Polygram, Mike has also toured with artists such as Brian May, Ronan Keating, Rose Royce, Cozy Powell, and many many more.
Daniel has worked with artists like Robbie Williams setting up one of the countries first Roland V effect processors for the band whist rehearsing live on Robbie's first UK solo tour. He also worked closely with Paul Hardcastle offering technical assistance, along with the likes of Mike Angleo and Jan Cryca. He was also invited backstage at the MIA Music Show by Marshall’s rep, to meet Slash and Steve Lukather and has played with them many times whilst in the UK.
